1. Start Internet Explorer
2. From the menu bar, select -> Tools -> Internet Options...
3. Select the Connections tab
4. Select your KOS dial-up connection in the Dial-up and Virtual Private Networking settings box near the top and click the Settings button on the right
5. Put a checkmark beside Use a proxy server for...
6. In the Address box, enter dialspeed.kos.net
7. In the Port box, next to Address, enter 8080
8. Click OK to close the Settings window
9. Select the Advanced tab (top right)
10. Scroll down to HTTP 1.1 Settings
11. Make sure you have checkmarks beside both:
    
    Use HTTP 1.1
    and
    Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections
    
    
12. Click OK to close the Internet Options window
13. You may need to close and reopen your browser, for the changes to take effect

1. Start Firefox
2. From the menu bar, select -> Tools -> Options...
3. Under General settings (top left), click Connection Settings...
   If using Firefox 2.* and up, Select "Advanced" (top right), the "Network" tab, and click the "Settings" button, under "Connection"
4. Put a dot beside Manual proxy configuration
5. In the HTTP Proxy box, enter dialspeed.kos.net
6. In the Port box, next to HTTP Proxy, enter 8080
7. Click OK to close the Connection Setttings window
8. Click OK to close the Options window
9. You may need to close and reopen your browser, for the changes to take effect

2. From the menu bar, select -> Edit -> Preferences...
3. Under Advanced settings (bottom left), select Proxies
4. Put a dot beside Manual proxy configuration
5. In the HTTP Proxy box, enter dialspeed.kos.net
6. In the Port box, next to HTTP Proxy, enter 8080
7. Click OK to close the Preferences window
8. You may need to close and reopen your browser, for the changes to take effect
